Trendsetter Software offers four products, all exclusiviely designed for Apple Macintosh computers. Undertanding the differences between products is the primary focus of this page. Let's begin the discussion as if there were just two products, Analyst and Hotline. We can do this because Pro Analyst is the live version of Personal Analyst and HotlineX is the live version of Personal Hotline. And, since Hotline has all of the features of Analyst plus, the key is to decide if the extra features of Hotline will be useful to you. After you make that distinction, then decide whether you want live, streaming data or end of day and your done!
HotlineX and Personal Hotline
Streaming Intraday Data or End of Day Data
All the Features of Analyst
Plus
| The biggest difference between Analyst and Hotline is that Hotline has system modeling functions. The program contains a builit-in system that makes recommendations on where to buy, sell and place stop losses as well as the ability for you to set up your own systems. There are also many smaller differences outlined here.
